How Send it! Outside started
I am a father of four, a software engineer, and a rider who got hooked on mountain biking in 2020 after a friend invited me out for a ride.
Since then, our Friday morning mountain bike group has ridden consistently week after week. Those rides are more than exercise. They are adventure, friendship, and a reset before the day begins.
I have always loved discovering new places, but finding the right location was often frustrating. In the San Antonio MTB Facebook group, someone would post an epic photo and the first response was usually: "Where is that?"
What came next was almost always a well-meaning but confusing attempt to describe turns, landmarks, and parking spots. Great trails were being shared, but not easily found.
That challenge sparked the idea for Send it! Outside.
Our phones already capture exact location data every time we take a photo. Send it! Outside turns that hidden data into a simple way to share spots, discover new lines, and help more people spend healthy time outdoors.
Want to ride with us on Friday mornings? Let me know.
